Sustainable Society As A Disguise for Authoritarianism

Posted By admin On 25. August 2008 @ 18:39 In Freedom News | No Comments

The Sustainable Society envisioned by the Archonists (people who advocate Big Government and a Planned Economy) appear to be following the blueprint of a man named Robert Stivers, a Professor of Religion who taught a social gospel that was nothing more than socialism/Marxism dressed up in religious lingo.

What is the true agenda of the “Global Warming” socialists who are led by such men as Al Gore and Barack Obama and who now claim, seemingly in a new way, to be embracing faith? It is an agenda of nice sounding words that have as their objective the same things the French and Russian Revolutions had in mind: material equality. It adds to this objective “a healthy planet”, which allows them to demand a global system for their nightmarish agenda.

The American Revolution was only about one thing, freedom, and the result has been not a perfect society but a prosperous society in which most people most of the time have equal opportunity if they work hard, and over time freedom was extended first to slaves, then to women, and now, more and more, to the poor. The process continues, uneven at times, but it is held back and tamped down by the Archonists, people who believe in big government and a planned economy, who promise something different, but not really much different than the promises of the French and Russian Revolutions, promises no government can deliver on even with all the powers such governments demand, powers that always, and I emphasize always, end up leading to the guillotine or the gulag!

Here is the agenda this man, Robert L Stivers, laid out in 1976 and we can say that today’s Archonists, especially those who now firmly control the Democratic Party, seem to be carefully following.

Page 209 The Sustainable Society 1976 The Westminster Press

1. Basic research into the affects of pollution, the continuing availability of resources, and the possibilities of resource substitution.

2. Programs to restrict population increase, with particular emphasis in developed countries on voluntary contraception.

3. Programs to encourage new technologies designed to extend resources and suppress pollution, with special emphasis on durability, recycling, and differentiated growth.

4. The elimination of heavily polluting and depleting productive processes.

5. A coordinated resource policy.

6. Movement toward a more equitable distribution of income, wealth, and social costs; followed by the elimination of wasteful food, resource, and energy consumption.

7. Programs to compensate for dislocations and unemployment.

8. Cultivation of changing attitudes through new visions that concentrate on a) the fragility of the planet, and b) the positive aspects of the sustainable society.

To implement even these minimal steps we must begin with voluntary measures and institute increasingly coercive measures only as the situation warrants….

From the back cover…

Dr. Stivers sees the sustainable society as consisting of: 1) the equilibrium economy- a system in balance with nature and sustainable into the future, which emphasizes differentiated or selective growth; 2) a new global political structure capable of managing equilibrium yet allowing regional differences and freedom of expression; and 3) a new world view stress, among other things, nature and persons, realism and hop. Here is a challenge to reconsider traditional views of nature, work, consumption, poverty, and the future.

Can you imagine a world in which such policies and programs are followed?

THIS IS WHAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS ALL ABOUT, no matter the specific views of any individual. When any person is elected to the House or Senate as a member of this party, no matter their positions, they must support the leadership of their party, which supports THIS AGENDA.

It is popular to say “I don’t vote for the party, I vote for the person.” This SOUNDS NICE, but let’s be real, when you vote for the man, you get the platform of the party, and if you do not support the Democratic Party Platform, or their APPARENT adherence to the above agenda then you had better not vote for any single person who has a D behind their name!
