Pelosi LIED To Brokaw!

Nancy Pelosi told Tom Brokaw just this past Sunday on Meet the Press that she only invested $50,000 to $100,000 in CLNE corporation, the company that was started by T Boone Pickens, but in reality a further investigation, initiated by Jason Gillman of Michigan Taxes, reveals that the Pelosi family has increased their investment, a fact that Pelosi neglected to reveal to Tom Brokaw, a fact that reveals her ongoing interest in this company and her outlandish conflict of interest.

The value of the asset is now $100,000 to $250,000 and the P code means “Asset had purchases.”

As Nancy Pelosi tells protestors to “drill your heads” and pretends to be trying to save the planet while her allies in the so-called “media” try to whitewash her blatant conflict of interest, her husband is “quietly” increasing their investment in a company whose value could increase 10-fold if Proposition 10 in California passes, a proposition that could see $5 billion to $10 billion of state and federal money poured into CLNE’s natural gas program. The company, valued at around $600 million, would increase its value by 10-fold or more!

While Nancy Pelosi, with the apparent connivance of “factCheck.org” made much of the fact that she has herself NOT publicly come out for Proposition 10, she is definitely going to benefit if it passes and yet the prospects of an “all of the above” energy solution do not bode well for her or Proposition 10.

High oil prices, which are a direct result of supply and demand and our national policy of restricting drilling, have a direct bearing on the price of natural gas. According to The Energy Information Administration:

“High Oil Prices – Some large-volume customers (primarily industrial consumers and electricity generators) can switch between natural gas and other fuels, such as petroleum products, depending on the prices of each. As a result of this interrelation between fuel markets, when oil prices rise, the competitive pressure to maintain low gas prices diminishes, and the shift in demand to natural gas drives prices upward.”

The plain truth is, Nancy LIED to the public, tried to cover up her real agenda, and pretends that what is now a $100,000 to $250,000 investment that COULD become valued at $1 million to $2.5 million, IF her husband does not invest more, is “no big deal.”

What we need to learn, and we demand, is that Nancy disclose FULLY exactly how much of CLNE she owes, how her husband was able to purchase the stock on the very day of its offering, whether or not he paid the full price or the “special” price, and why she cannot RECUSE HERSELF from this very important issue and CALL CONGRESS BACK to vote on an “all of the above” energy solution?
