UPDATE: Looks like the US is not about to silently let Georgia bet taken under Russian control. The following causes us to reduce this war warning to medium, 50%, and this is GOOD NEWS!  The U.S. has provided Georgia with a billion dollars of economic and military aid. This includes NATO sending technicians and equipment to link Georgia’s air defense radars with the NATO system. That means anything the Russian Air Force does over Georgia, will immediately show up in NATO air defense command centers. The U.S. is also believed sending new anti-aircraft weapons (most likely Stingers.) This aggressiveness is partly in response to Russian sales of air defense systems to Syria and Iran. The new Cold War is heating up.

We issue a war warning at a high level when the likelihood of hostilities is greater than 80% and we hereby issue a war warning of HIGH for Georgia which will involve Russian-backed groups resorting to force followed by “asking” Russian forces to come in to “save them.”

Russia has announced, minutes ago, that the “opposition parties” in Georgia have declared an end to their former truce with President Saakashvil and that they are demanding an end to his government. Look for an uprising, fifth column style, very soon and a return of Russian forces with the objective being the total re-integration of Georgia into the Russian Federation.

We upgrade the War Warning for UKRAIN to MEDIUM, a 50% or greater chance of war which is conditioned on Russian aggression in Georgia. Unkrain also has political divisions and ethnic divisions which the Russian will exploit.

[1] PRAVDA, the real Pravda, is reporting that Russia will deploy strategic bombers to the Lourdes facility in Cuba, re-open its Naval base in Cam Rahn Bay in Vietnam and, additionally, we are receiving more confirmation that the Russians are indeed setting up shop in Venezuela and may have been there for quite some time under the guise of being military contractors and training Venezuelan pilots and military personnel in their new arms, which may exceed the announced totals Venezuela claims it has purchased.

Nikolai Patrushev, the Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council, was already in Cuba to renew ties and discuss logistical issues to re-open the Russian base that was closed in 2001.

Russia has proclaimed five strategic operating principles for how it will operate in the future. First, Russia observes international law. Second, it rejects U.S. dominance of world affairs in what it calls a unipolar world. Next, it seeks friendly relations with other nations. Fourth, it will defend Russian citizens and business interests abroad. And fifth, it claims its own sphere of influence in the world.
