I am urging you to join The Marysville Freedomist Club in order to protect your rights, yourself, and your property, in order to prepare against a serious meltdown in our economy, in order to pool resources and save money, and in order to start the process of fighting back against corporate and political corruption at all levels that has led to this crisis.

The Marysville Freedomist Club will serve the Villages of Cove and Perdix, Marysville Borough, Rye Township, and Shermansdale.

The future of this nation is uncertain. Our political future and our economic future seem to be in the control of people and processes that we cannot trust and we cannot control. The question is, how can we gain more control over our lives, at least to be able to meet our needs and protect our own rights, ourselves, and our property?

The simple thing is that we must either control our lives ourselves by being self reliant, not needing any institution that is corrupt or that is simply out of our control. For many of us, this self reliance has been a hope and a dream, but try as we might, every time we think we are moving the ball forward something seems to happen that is beyond our control.

If you look at your present situation and can see that on your own you cannot quickly change your situation and become self reliant then you have to start looking beyond yourself. It is obvious that you don’t want to depend on Washington or Wall Street, these crooks are the reason many people cannot achieve self reliance and their stupidity and greed, their corruption and criminal behavior, violating the public trust and oaths of office, are the chief causes of every single major economic and social problem in this nation.

The work of restoring a proper constitutional balance will not be easy, it will involve political and information warfare at every level, it will require reforms, electing good people, reigning in the courts, and seriously purging the bureaucracy of criminals, violators of the constitution, and ideologues. This work, however, cannot go forward with any hope of success unless the people engaged in this work are self reliant because if we have to rely on a system we intend on replacing then that system will not hesitate to use this against us.

The question is: how can we become self reliant if we lack the resources to be self reliant on our own?

Our need for cash is the biggest source of our weakness. The less cash we need, the easier it is for us to act. If I earn $2,000 per month and only need to spend $1,000 per month I can buy extra supplies of food items, I can buy gold or silver, or I can spend money on efforts to get our message out to the people.

What do we need cash for?

We need cash for food, for rent or mortgages, to pay debt, for gas, for car payments, for internet, TV, and phones, and lots of other expenses.

How can we reduce our need for cash?

First, we can create buying clubs to make bulk purchases of items we need, from food and household goods and electronics. These clubs are easy to set up, as few as 10 families can form such a club, and they can reduce spending by 20% or more.

Second, we can create “victory gardens” where people who have land share space to create gardens that grow food, or greenhouses that grow food all year long, to offset the need for cash.

Third, we can create labor-currency with as few as 50 to 100 families who trade units of time (1/10^th of an hour) to buy things from each other as much as possible rather than spending cash outside the group.

Fourth, we can consider carpooling, sharing vehicles, using a group owned van for shopping, and buying mopeds in bulk to share.

Fifth, we can consider sharing houses to reduce these expenses.

Sixth, we can form health care assurance clubs to replace insurance and negotiate basic services with local doctors and catastrophic care coverage at a group rate.

Seventh, we can cooperate swap services such as childcare, after school care, elder care, home repairs, vehicle repairs, and etc. rather than pay cash for them.

Eight, we can pool money to buy as much gold or silver as possible creating a reserve of gold and silver, broken down into 1/100^th of an ounce units for ease of use.

Ninth, we can create a mutual assurance program including having a “common house” for people who have no home, a central food bank, a reserve of labor currency and of gold and silver, and a reserve of cash to help people in time of need or crisis.

Tenth, we can start to buy and set up, wherever possible, solar, wind, and other alternative power generation systems selling the energy back to utility companies and applying the money to the utility bills of members, negotiating a single account for all members with the utility company.

Eleventh, create a shared “office center” with its own wifi access, cable with at least 4 separate boxes, and at least 4 phone lines allowing members to cancel their cable and internet and use this facility.

As your group becomes self reliant, you also need to set up your own local publication, online, and buy a good used copier or duplicator to print at least 500, 4-page 8.5 by 11 inch copies of your local “newspaper” each week serving as a watchdog, resource, and advocate in order to earn the right to persuade the people to join our cause.

This publication will also promote the buying club, the trade currency, and any businesses members own or the group owns in order to gain local clients.

How quickly can we set up such groups?

The first four items can be accomplished by any group of 10-20 families right away, within 2-3 weeks you can have your first delivery of good for your buying club and you can start doing the car pool program right away: a volunteer who is not working could even run a “route” to deliver a group of people to work in the morning and pick them after work.

People who rent in the group should consider moving to houses where people are buying and sharing expenses: this helps both families save money. Landlords should seriously consider accepting trade currency or bartered goods for rent rather than losing tenants. A few families may choose to rent one house and renters need to negotiate a “rent to own contract” with their landlord. If the house is shared, the renters can then be joint owners and later use the house as collateral to buy their own homes.

Available land should be snatched up by the group for possible future development and for immediate use for gardens, greenhouses, fish farms, and for raising small animals.

The preliminary goals of our Club will be the following:

 

1. Help one another, do at least the first four items, and work on the other items as possible

 

2. Look at all housing and transportation arrangements to come up with ways to save money for all

 

3. Recruit new members in your community by passing out pamphlets and fliers, starting a local free press, and buying a copier or duplicator as quickly as you can

 

4. Create a “compact” for elected officials and voters that will assert local autonomy and individual sovereignty: go door to door and get people to sign it and then organize rallies at town meetings to demand that elected officials sign it or face immediate recall

 

5. Designate “Freeholds” of 200-300 homes with their own “Town Meeting” to urge residents to join the program and create their neighborhood level organization that aims at promoting local autonomy while protecting individual sovereignty (we will be recruiting 12 Coordinators in this area, as described above, to manage the 12 Freeholds

 

Initially, you need to join our local Freedomist Club for mutual support and good ideas for promoting Freedomist Clubs in your area.

Yes, we are asking for money.

You can send $5 a month to our national office to help us create a virtual infrastructure, help us provide a staff of full time leaders and workers, and promote our ideas all over the nation. We will ask local club members to give $25 per month to their “Freehold” for group activities and $15 for the Marysville Club itself.

The national office will serve the local Club.

We need to research all the laws, regulations, and possibilities for implementing this program, we need to develop and publish effective manuals, guides, promotional materials, ads, and etc. to support local people.

We need to develop a mutual support and assurance program so that clubs can depend on greater help across the nation when they just don’t have the resources or when the whole local community is in crisis.

We need to fund a “man in the scene” in Washington DC who can stay on top of what’s going on, talking directly to the lawmakers on our behalf, setting up activities for us in DC, providing room and board when we send people into DC, and working with existing groups and organizations there.

We need to develop a virtual community that is an information portal, that has a research system that is top notch, that allows communications between members and clubs, and that promotes our ideas on a nationwide scale.

We need to develop a national trade network using labor currency so that members all across the nation can essentially barter for goods and services between one another.

We need to develop a buying club that allows members across the nation to save money on items they would purchase online and that can negotiate price breaks for members from national chain stores.

If you join, giving $5 per month to the national office, out of our club dues you will have access to the following:

 

1. Plans and ideas to quickly develop your own local Freehold

 

2. Manuals, guides, and sample contracts and compacts to set up your Club

 

3. Access to legal, technical, and current events research, news, and vital information as we build our database

 

4. As we develop more resources, by gaining support, we will set up “mirror” sites, local versions of the main AFN website, which your Club will be able to use

 

5. Access to state, national, and global intelligence, news, and information for use by your Club

 

6. Daily email news updates, one in the AM, one at night, that include intel for members only, news, resources, and general information of vital importance to sovereign individuals

 

You will be asked to do the following:

 

1. Participate in the information network in one or more of the following areas: information/intel gathering, research/investigation, data analysis, design/graphics/PHP/WordPress (production), writing/editing, and SEO/Promotions/Social Networking

 

2. Agree to make a monthly contribution of $45 overall to the Club, $5 going to the National Office

 

3. Participate in “Town Meetings” for your Club or Freehold to vote on issues and decisions and elect leaders or approve of workers

 

4. Seek to promote the creation of a Freehold in your neighborhood using materials and resources we provide

 

Why should you do this right now?

 

1. You will be able to save money in a number of ways as described above

 

2. You will be extremely well informed so that you understand what is happening, who is doing what, why they are doing it, and how you can cope with it

 

3. You will have a realistic opportunity to influence your local government, or to create an alternative community organization, to promote local autonomy and to protect your individual sovereignty

You will be helping to build a foundation for a national movement that will be able to assert individual sovereignty and local autonomy at the state level and both of these things plus state sovereignty, a limited government, a free market, and transparency and accountability of government and of all entities that have a public trust at the federal level

You will be helping to start a peaceful, orderly, legal revolution from within that will restore and expand our freedom giving individuals, their private organizations, entrepreneurs, local communities, and the states almost ALL of the political, economic, social, and cultural power and control over resources within this nation

 

Working together within local Freedomist Clubs we can start to do things that will help all of us within 30 days, that will begin to impact our local areas within 60 days, that will lead to a massive national effort to promote Freedomist Clubs within 90 days, and that will lead to a national movement that addresses states and the federal government in a serious manner within 6 to 9 months.

Our goal will be to secure a committee of 20 people, to secure 12 Freehold Presidents, and to secure 5 Freehold Committee members who each contribute $45 per month to the Club with priority assigned to secure a Common House as our headquarters with facilities for receiving goods we purchase in bulk, to secure a high speed copier, with ink and supplies, 4 club owned computers, printers, and supplies for a shared office with high speed Wifi, an apartment for the Club President (if possible), meeting space, and supplies to print 500 copies per week of a local newspaper, The Marysville Citizen’s Journal, which will also be online.

Once we recruit this leadership team we will be able to grow to at least 15-20 members per Freehold, with each Freehold eventually having its own Common House (using money from the buying club to cover these costs, the buying club will charge 10% above costs), and we will be able to secure at least 300 to 500 signatures from citizens for our “Community Freedom Compact.”

As we grow we will seek also to recruit, train, and support new Club Founders in other communities, namely in Enola, Duncannon, and other communities throughout Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland Counties using classified ads, the internet, and supportive outreach in cooperation with Club Founders and their local supporters.

As we grow these clubs, we will create a regional “Freedomist Alliance” for all Clubs of all sizes in Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland Counties and we will fund a Harrisburg Bureau for our information network that will focus on State government.
