Looks like the Fed uis doing its own Socialist Enabling Act II, this time we don;t get the courtesy of a “date” with a few late night votes and alarmist speeches…..they’re just gonna TAKE our money!

The Fed said it was creating a new entity to buy two types of short-term debt, known as three-month unsecured and asset-backed commercial paper, directly from eligible companies. It hopes to have the program up and running soon, Fed officials said.

Fed officials said they would buy as much of the debt as necessary to get the market functioning again but refused to say how much that might be. They noted that around $1.3 trillion worth of commercial paper would qualify.

As some commentators put it - the New York Times’ gatekeeper last weekend declared the disclosure of the Obama-Ayers axis admissible, CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s program shot into action and investigated matters.

Drew Griffin unearthed evidence that Obama’s political coming out party in 1995 at the Ayers Chicago residence wasn’t thrown by Alice Palmer, as Obama claims. Griffin spoke to two attendants, both asserting that Palmer had not been involved with the event, apart of briefly attending it. Apparently Obama and Ayers planned the event themselves. “When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

This is a clip of Jodie Evans on the “Conscience of Kansas” radio show, arguing that the attacks of 9/11 were orchestrated because we had bases in the middle east. She equivocates on this point, saying that she is not justifying the attacks (she is against all forms of terrorism, she claims), but rather pointing out our need to negotiate, or, as she would say, “listen” to why people are trying to blow you up.

The same people who advocated the invasion of Iraq are once again raising the drumbeat for military action against Iran. The Bush administration, echoed by presidential candidate John McCain, is now beefing up their justifications for war by labeling Iran one of the greatest threats to American security, and blaming Tehran for the difficulties American troops face in Iraq.

But Iran has not threatened to attack the United States, and there is no compelling evidence that Iran poses a real and imminent threat to the security and safety of the United States that would justify an unprovoked unilateral pre-emptive military attack. In fact, a 2007 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), representing the consensus view all 16 U.S. intelligence agencies, concluded that Iran froze its nuclear weapons program in 2003, and an earlier NIE concluded that Iran’s involvement in Iraq “is not likely to be a major driver of violence” there.

Writer’s Note:  This story is interesting in that while Mr. Corsi may be on his way home according to unpublished reports, he was prevented by Kenyan officials from announcing what he learned about Obama.

Journalist and author Jerome Corsi is being held in custody by Kenyan officials after arresting the American journalist shortly before a scheduled press conference.Corsi is the author of the bestseller The Obamanation and was in Kenya doing more research into Barack Obama’s Kenyan political connections.  

Mr. Corsi told World Net Daily by telephone this morning, ”Just as we were about to start the 10 a.m. press conference at the Grand Regency Hotel in Nairobi, Kenyan immigration approached us and detained us.”"Tim Bueler, my publicist, and I are now in the immigration offices, with our passports taken. The immigration officer told the press, ’There is no problem, and Dr. Corsi is a friend of Kenya.’”

Mr. Corsi is also the author of the John Kerry expose, Unfit for Command.
