Freedomism Or Socialism?

Socialism is a system in which a few control the wealth produced by the many and is always the result of a violation of freedom within the economy. Freedomism is a system in which most people most of the time who work hard and do a good job become materially self-reliant and financially independent. Monopolies of wealth and power, always fostered by government laws, regulations, and policies, prohibit the average individual from becoming self reliant and financially independent while artificially increasing the costs for such needs as health care, education, and other needs.

Where there is poverty, debt, lack of real self reliance and financial independence a socialist system, in some form or another, is the cause. Socialism comes in many forms, but generally two dominate, corporatism and progressivism.

Corporatism is a system in which the promise of a free market is presented as an excuse for monopolies of power that are not accountable to the laws of supply and demand.

Progressivism is a form of socialism in which the promise of wealth equality as social justice is used to excuse a monopoly over the market by the government and/or by corporations which sell to the government.

Socialism is not a belief, there are different ideas and beliefs used to justify socialism, is it is a system of social control by any centralized authority, be it a government or some other entity, in which real wealth and ownership is concentrated in a few hands, whether those hands are business owners who are not accountable to market forces or government officials who are not accountable to market forces.

There are two systems: Socialist systems and Freedomist systems and the evidence that a socialist system exists is born out by a factual stating of the facts. If it is true that most people most of the time do not and cannot realistically hope to achieve material self reliance and financial independence then socialism is present.

If most people are materially self reliant and financially independent and if most decision-making power is in the hands of individuals, private groups, and local communities within a free market that hold people accountable for high standards in terms of quality and cost then Freedomism is present.

You cannot produce the results of Freedomism, a wide availability of wealth, material self reliance and financial independence through a free market, by means of anything other than a free market coupled with decentralization of political power at the level of individuals, private groups, and local communities where Electors are in effect the legislators and the jurists.

You cannot fix socialism in any of its forms by socialism in new forms. For instance, if you despise corporatism and oppose wealth in the hands of a few rich robber barons you cannot “fix” it by promoting progressivism and saying you are going to “make the rich pay their fair share.” You cannot fix progressivism by turning a blind eye to monopolies that are not market-driven and calling a Wall Street Driven investment market that is effected by government actions, external realities, and speculation at least as much, if not more than, supply and demand “the free market”.

Corporate socialisms, which tends to favor the few in the monetary and regulatory policy, at the expense of the many, who are artificially hindered from entering into the market to compete, or that relies on an education system that produces weaklings and wage slaves rather than entrepreneurs, is more efficient than Progressive socialism only because it tends to have SOME market forces and therefore it produces more overall wealth.

The final triumph of Freedomism over socialism as a system involves a structure in which we replace “one big economy” and “one big political system”, or “One Big System” (OBS) with a decentralized system in which MOST economy and political power is effectively in the hands of buyers, entrepreneurs, workers, investors, and Electors at the individual, private, and local levels. The OBS is replaced with a synergistic, organic, interdependent system of thousands of smaller systems where competition from within and without tends to produce a free market at all levels in which the best ideas and products at the best prices win the most clients and where new ideas, new products, are constantly challenging established concerns to stay ahead or fail.

This is not “survival of the fittest”, failure is not death, it is instructive, even therapeutic, and a present failure is no hindrance to a future success.

In such a natural, organic, synergistic system, where most political and economic power is localized and privatized, large competitors cannot count on favors, big government contracts, regulations that make new entries in the market difficult in terms of cost, and the ability to both freeze out the ads of competitors (by making costs too high as all is national and irreducibly complex) while enjoying a monopoly of control over the news media.

Freedomism is obtainable, we can start practicing it on our own, although we will need to work to keep socialistic systems, including Washington and Wall Street, off our backs, but socialism in all of its promises, the corporate form that promises you riches beyond your dreams if only you sell your soul and the progressivism that offers guaranteed results regardless of your work, is impossible.

The TRUE opiate of the masses is not religion, faith is and has always been a strong check against excess and doing ill to one’s neighbor or one’s self, but, rather, the promises of socialism.

The promises of wealth beyond your dreams if only you sell your soul or of a utopian world where all individuals have all their needs met equally are impossible promises that have been proven to be false over the centuries, but still many individuals fall for them and fail to recognize that whoever promises them is a liar, a thief, a charlatan: in short, a socialist.
