Welcome to the American Freedomist network’sNewscope at 10amwith your host, Paul Collier. Immediately after this show, stay with us for the 57th state at 11am- with your host, Bill Collier.

Coming up today, the Obamarx marches on- news of his undocumented transistion team, the first bullets he will fire at our American rights, a look at the international economy, world news, and the debut of Paul’s audio news vault.

Up first, a look at the Obamarx march:

From AP

Obama ZZTurns to his goons, paid for by undisclosed donors, who may or may not actually be on the team assigning “jobs”

“The Obama/Biden transistion Project- registered as a 501©4, it will have no controbution limitations, no requirement to reveal who paid what, and no way for Americans to discern who is on who’s payroll in the Obamarx administration.
“To my knowledge, it’s never been done, and people should be asking why the Obama people chose to do it this way,” says a longtime Washington Republican, who has been involved in transitions for the Reagan and Bush campaign teams.

Obama’s First Moves

From CNN
Obama has a few bullets to fire right when he takes office

Barack Obama is making overtures that suggest he will fire a few major bullets once he takes office, in the form of Executie Orders. One of the major bullets will be restoring the ban on offshore drilling, a battle many had thought was already over.

Another major move would be to remove the “gag” order on international aid agencies operating in America, giing them permission to promote abortions. In addition to that, on the same front, two more bullets will come with restoring federal dollars to embryonic stem cell research, and allowing Federal dollars to pay for abortions, a violation of many Americans’ right to religion (forcing them to pay for practices which clearly go against many Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other religious belief systems)

This move is a clear indication of Obama’s intention to govern from the far left, with no consideration or input being made for the folks on the other side of the aisle, as he promised.

Next Monday November 17th, the new AFN website, AFN50.com, will be unveiled. It will include opportunities for our members to build their own blogs, free of charge, sell their wares while helping the AFN grow, and more features that we’ll announce as we get closer to Monday.

We want to encourage all our listeners to be sure to visit our sponsor page on blog.freedomist.info. Also, we will have more news on our subscription program, as well as the AFNmarketplace (which may be done by Monday, or at least a mock-up of what it will be).

Now, back to our show.

And now for a look at the world markets- the dow is even at 8693 after suffering modest losses yesterday. Nasdaq is up .27% to 1580.9 while the FTSE, the DAX< and CAC all showed modest gains. The Nikkei finished with a loss of over 100 points, finishing at 4799

IN Germany, the concern is for the perceived lack of support from the German government after it announced its “a package of measures aimed at supporting growth by incentivising investment and consumption, with most additional spending focused on the former rather than the latter. The package amounts to mild fiscal loosening and should go some way towards offsetting the negative effects of the financial market crisis and the current global economic downswing, which the Economist Intelligence Unit believes will bring a three-year period of solid economic growth in Germany to a grinding halt.- from the Economist

EU A ND RUSSIA SUMMIT
The EU is moving forward with its talks with Russia, starting Novemeber 13th, set against the backdrop of the still troubling issues of Georgia, the Ukraine, Russia’s energy terrorism, overt computer hacks worldwide, and Russia’s willingness to cooperate with all of the terrorist, fascist states of the world, from Syria to Iran to Venezuala.

It is not clear what will happen with this two-day summit in Nice, France, but the mere scheduling of the meeting shows some flexibility on the EU front in accepting Russia into its not-so-appealing club (after the bailout and people discovered that the interests of the nations overwhelmingly override those of the EU).

American Auto Makers expereince operating losses in the last quarter of $7 billion dollars, according to an article in the economist.

In addition to that, Ford and GM have also spent over $14 Billion, trying unsuccessfuly to right the ship. But the solution being sought is for a government bail-out, with no promise to fix the issues that plague American automakers:
1. a refusal to develop more efficient cars and trucks
2. prohibitive operating costs due to the built-in expense of high healthcare expenditures and benefits related to a muscular Socialist/Organized Crime organization, the unions
The Bank of England, in an effort to stem the now weakening pound, have lowered their benchmark interest rate by 1.5 %, bring the right to 3%, THE LOWEST IT HAS BEEN SINCE 1955, acording to an article in the telegraph uk. Despite the cuts, the IMF forcasts a 1.3% contraction in the English economy. This move has been made while consumer price inflation rates in England stand at 5.2%, raising some concerns that an inherently inflation-creating move (cutting interest rates) will have on an economy already showing signs of major inflationary concerns.

Ladies and gentlement, now it is time for Paul’s Audio News Vault, audio clips fetched from today’s combing of the net for Freedomist-related news. On this week’s edition , We’ll look at the Obamarx brown shirts in the words of one of the architects, Rham Immanuel, and we’ll tour John Podesta, one of the major leaders in Obamarx, one of the leading so-called religious progressives in America (de facto follower of the Socialist “liberation” theology, co-opting Catholic values and redressing them in Socialist clothing to make Socialism more palpable).

Rham Emanuel spells out in more detail the plans for the secret youth police:

Podesta on the “mandate” for change..start listening at the 5 minute mark
A hint of the boldness with which Obama’s administration will move forward with radical, socialist programs

A look at John Podesta….first….he describes his position as a “religious progressie”, a “liberal catholic”

You will hear the underpiinnings of liberation theology, the tactic of making traditional Christian values equivilant to socialist programming.

IN this clip, starting at the 1:40 mark, Podesta equates Bush failure to conservative expermiment failure, willing to distort reality, knowing that Bush did not govern as a true conservative- this goes to the willingness of one of Obama’s key players being willing top diseminate the same distortions as the rest of the Obamarx machine. He will also state, in this clip, that we need to learn that government is good.(3:30 mark)

ROn Paul warns we will ruin the economy with the bailout- one of the few congresspeople who’ve actually read the whole illegal boondoggle that they illegally passed through the senate.

And now a word from the AFN:
Hi, my name is Paul Collier, and I’m not just the founder, but I’m also a client…that’s right, male-pattern baldness is a scar many of us have to endure, some of us that have a full head of hair but see signs of that retreat across the forehead in our nightmares everyday. That’s why I founded Paul Collier’s Hairclub for men who have not lost hair, but may fear that they will.

You may be second-guessing my business model, investing all this money in potential doom, the balding of my man-scalp, rather than giving it to the folks who are actually going bald. I say I have the backing of the world’s leading economists, from China to America, who all say the same thing……We gotta bail out the rich folks who might not possibly maybe be quite as rich in the future if we don’t prop them up…..the bankruptcy relief fund for the folks who have not lost real wealth, but may fear that they will.

So that is my model, my inspiration for the paul collier hair club for men who have not lost hair but may fear that they will.

And now, for something completely different, a look at the world’s news:

Here is an article from the los angeles times- something we promise to monitor, the election of a secular mayor to jerusalem
Jerusalem Elects First Secular Mayor in 5 Years
Posted 57 minutes ago in World
(Newser) – A secular, hardline millionaire has won a decisive victory for mayor of Jerusalem, ending 5 years of ultra-Orthodox rule, the Los Angeles Times reports. Nir Barkat has promised to transform the impoverished capital city by boosting tourism and tech ventures. He has also demanded more homes for Jews in East Jerusalem, an area dominated by Arabs who would like to see it become the capital of a Palestinian state.
Jerusalem’s slide into poverty and its huge ultra-Orthodox population, most of whom don’t work, have made its mayoralty a less-than-appealing prize for many Israeli politicians. None of the country’s major parties put up a candidate, despite a national election in just three months. Most Arab voters once again boycotted the election, seeing it as a de facto recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over the entire holy city.
Does this indicate that Israel is moving towards a more secular approach, or is it simply the product of indifference by the major parties. It is too early to tell, but the AFN will monitor this mayor’s upcoming moves.

According to the Washington Post, Obama’s security advisors are suggesting negotiations with the Taliban and Iran to help with Afghanistan and the capture of Bin Laden, echoing his theme of negotiating with terrorists that was downplayed during the election, and even denied.
The article focuses on Obama’s intent toaggressively pursue Osama. It does not cover the underlying theme, negotiating with terrorists and terrorist entities, like the Taliban and Afghanistan. It cites unnamed quotes from Pentagon officials who claim the Taliban fighters are not ideological, and are for negotiations. As the Pentagon is run by progressives, it is not surprising that it would want to spin this willingness to negotiate with terrorists as a natural extension of ending wars.
General David McKiernan, head of US troops in Afghanistan is quoted as saying “at the end of the day, that’s how most wars end”. Another advisor, in attempting to subtely gloss over the willingness to negotiate with terrorists, is quoted as saying “this is our enemy (Osama), and he should be our principle target” The subtext here is that we are negotiating with terrorists to capture terrorists (the enemy of my enemy logic, and the favorite progressive, socialist, fascist mantra, the ends justify the means).
Watch out for more such spin as Obama begins to negotiate with fascists who seek to destroy the American way of life, something the Obamarx is not too set against, apparently.

In Burma, a secret court has sentenced activists from one of the leading pro-democracy groups. The charge? Not defined, but the sentence is 65 years apiece. There has been no comment from this white house or the white-house-in-waiting.

Japanese TV is reporting that Kim JOng Il had a second stroke. South Korean officials have denied the claim, with North Korea making no statement on the matter, and offering no proof of Ils health.

The cooperation of South Korea with North Korea’s possible deception begs the question, why is south korea perpetuating north Korean propaganda, in some cases doing its work.

Some members of the intelligence community, not in the majority, believe that top officials and their connected families are in negotiations with North Korean officials to develop a new “live and let live” policy that will allow the new North Korean regime to maintain its fascist control on its citizens, while allowing for a certain level of free-market policies, led by the families in power in South Korea, along with China.

The logic is that they need the slaves of North Korea to believe that their “dear leader” is well, so that the new regime can consolidate power before the possible chaos ensues. In systems of personality-cult leadership, a people will lose all respect for law and order if they feel their divine leader is dead or incapacitated. ON the surface, this would be good for a South Korea, and even the United States, to use the chaos to push for democratic reform.

The complacency of the South Korean government is a red flag that South Korea is shifting its ties from the West to the East. Stationing troops in a nation that is actively working to aid our enemies may not be a sound practice in the future, unless the troops are there to watch the South Koreans, as well as the North Koreans.

New york Time report on the Taliban in the Northwest Frontier province suggests that the Taliban’s insurgency tactics in that region are beyond the control of the Pakistani military, trained conventionally, not unconventionally. Pakistan has resorted with what are called “scorched earth” policies, which are serving to recruit more rebels and create more allies for the Taliban cause. So far, some 200,000+ people have been replaced by the Pakistani policy.

In this climate, Obama’s promise to negotiate with the Taliban and iran (major funders of the Taliban in Iraq) could serve to undermine the credibility of Pakistan. No reporter has asked Obama the question: How can you negotiate with a foe who is undermining your own allies, who states as its goal the creation of a worldwide caliphate controlled by fascist Muslim leaders, who may have you beheaded if your beard isn’t long enough?

From the Associated Press- Anita Powell reporting-

Angola sending troops to Congo

Angola is mobilizing troops to send to Congo, heightening fears that the fighting there would engulf other countries in the region……
….Congo asked Angola for political and military support Oct. 29 ….
…..Chicoty made the announcement on Angolan national …
……The presence of Angolans in the volatile region could be seen as a provocation by Rwanda — the country whose 1994 ethnic genocide ignited the tensions that still roil the region today….
Congolese officials sought Angolan help as Nkunda’s rebels were advancing toward Goma. Nkunda called a unilateral cease-fire last week when his forces reached the outskirts of the city, but the truce has crumbled amid persistent reports of fighting.
……At least at least 250,000 people have been displaced by fighting that the largest United Nations peacekeeping force struggled to contain…….
….A rare nighttime gunbattle erupted late Tuesday between rebels and the army just north of Goma…….
Closer to Goma, the situation for displaced refugees was dire.
“I haven’t eaten properly in three weeks,” said Teoneste Dies, 22. He fled his home three weeks ago with his wife and three children, survivingon whatever potatoes they could scrounge.
