Pelosi CIA Presser- “I won’t have anything more to say”

Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the US House of Representatives, held her weekly presser today. Here is the instantly famous : “I don’t have anything more to say”.

Half of the room screams for follow-up, while the other half of the room seeks to give her cover by asking very irrelevent questions…k street lobbying and chinese travel…

The press showed nakedly before the world that the press is willing to outwardly enable illegal government activities (such as leveling baseless, serious charges against cia employees)..at least some of them are….which is enough to endict them all.

Nancy Pelosi should not have found ONE person not willing to pursue the CIA question….she found at least two:

“we’re going in a bipartisan way”…huh?
I WONT HAVE ANYTHING MORE TO SAY

Kstreet guy……..he doesn’t identify himself….who is he? a Pelosi plant? He served up a softball that gave her an opportunity to slam republicans…

by the by..steny hoyer body language makes me feel he’s getting ready to replace pelosi…with himself…..

China Question Guy…who is he? He doesn’t even identify himself. Could he be a Pelosi plant? Why was Pelosi’s daughter filming this?

Steve King girl was slick….

This Pelosi Presser was a conspiracy theorist’s fantasy…all the wonderful unspoken machinations, the unsettled atmosphere such as one finds at a press conference just after a nuclear disaster occured….

This is only going to infuriate the CIA more. More fun to follow.

Chrysler to Bail Out Dealers- Auto Bailout Twist?

Chrysler Auto Bailout Twist

“WASHINGTON — Chrysler will help dealers facing closure dispose of their inventory and other assets beyond the June 9 deadline the company has set, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison said Thursday after talking to the bankrupt automaker’s president, James Press.”

There is a lot of blowback, backlash, back something or other coming from the Chrysler, GM auto dealer cuts. As middle-class families that relied on auto dealerships to send generations of their children to college find themselves being cut off while families of unions enjoy an almost protected status, class warfare, and rage between the Obama winners and losers will only build.

AAA Credit Rating Lost by US?- Japan Optimistic Anyway

U.S AAA Credit Rating Loss Possible- Japan Economy Finds Bottom?

“TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan, the world’s second-largest economy, became the latest country on Friday to signal that the worst of the global financial crisis may be over.

The news though did little to lift the mood of investors, who fretted instead over concerns that the United States could lose its top-level AAA credit rating.”

The big blurb there should catch your notice…the United States could lose its AAA credit rating, which will trigger rising interest rates in an already unfrozen credit market.

Microsoft AntiTrust Hearing Cancelled- 5-22-9

“BERLIN — Microsoft and the European Commission have canceled the only hearing planned in an antitrust investigation into the company’s Internet browser because of a dispute over the attendance of European regulators serving as advisers.”

The ruling about the fines to impose on Microsoft will have to come from all the written statements. This could possibly be more signs of a potentially growing protectionism on both sides of the pond.

““It appears many of the most influential commission and national competition officials with the greatest interest in our case will be in Zurich and so unable to attend our hearing,” Mr. Heiner wrote on his blog on the Microsoft Web site.”

Microsoft may have been attempting a delay because of June elections for the EU Commission which could change the EU’s top competition official, delaying the process while the new person assumes the post.
