Dancing with the Dealers 3:
“The investigation into how the apparent redistribution of Chrysler dealer franchises we reported on here and here continues. Joey Smith, Gateway Pundit, Reboot Congress and Libertarian Republican are just some of the blogs that are on the case”
Some of the key parts of their report so far:
3. Many of the Chrysler dealers on the closing list were heavy Republican donors. Some are sitting congressmen.
4. Among the dealers which were selected to remain in business are a number of outlets owned and operated by a partnership which includes among the partners former Clinton White House chief of staff Mack McLarty and Robert Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET). Both have strong Democrat ties. McLarty campaigned for Obama, and Johnson has contributed heavily to Democrats, including Obama.
5. The latest finding from the closure list is that there appears to be “an extremely high correlation between dealers closing and congressional districts BHO lost”:

Federal Reserve would serve as
risk regulator under Obama plan
“The Obama administration is proposing that the Federal Reserve serve as an all-seeing regulator to detect activities that could pose risks that undermine the entire financial system.”
Grain, Guns and Government:
The lynch pin to progressive reform began with this Supreme Court decision from 1942. Could there be a movement to undo Federal Regulatory Powers?

This is Gibbs warning critics not to to criticise the Obama nominee, setting up identity politics warfare with a racially divisive choice for Supreme Court Justice.
We will be issuing a report next week on La Rasa, an organization Sotomayor seems to have strong ties to, a racist organization that believes Hispanics should rule over most of the American West.

Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination to the Supreme Court is sparking off an interest spate of tweets from the left and the right, mostly focused on the so-called ‘identity politics’ issue, the now infamous Sotomayor comment that women Hispanics would offer a better perspective than white men.
Critics focus on Sotomayor speech

GNews: Germany to investigate leak
of election result on Twitter .
Russian internet group makes $200m investment in Facebook: http://tinyurl.com
“Facebook said yesterday it had accepted a $200m investment from Digital Sky Technologies, a private Russian internet investment group, valuing the fast growing social network’s preferred stock at $10bn.”
GNews: Twitter creator reflects on how
the service can evolve
“The buzz is definitely good right now, but it’s also potentially dangerous,” Dorsey said. “It may put us into a fad.”
….
“It should just become second nature,” Dorsey said. “It becomes something like an e-mail, where it’s just used on a daily basis because it’s just the most efficient way to communicate.”
Someone commented on the Kutcher threat to leave Twitter that if he left Twitter, it would render the only thing useful about twitter, reading celebrity tweets, useless because other celebs would follow.
Obviously this person has no idea what twitter really does, how whole groups of tweeters are forming, with our favorite group of course being the news tweeters and the news tweet readers. Celebrities hardly every truly utilize twitter outside of making a few promo tweeets and the occasional obligatory “I just peed in a cup..how embarrassing”.
Twitter’s real power comes not from the celebrities but from the mashability of the platform with multiple platforms, the ability to network networks or network a small online community. Twitter’s power comes from the inherit mesh capabilities that enable individuals to reach out with a bullhorn or a pin-prick pitch (as my former sales manager called it).

Are you ready for a federal sales tax?: Nuance. http://tinyurl.com/pcuom3
“While we do not want to rule any credible idea in or out as we discuss the way forward with Congress, the VAT tax, in particular, is popular with academics but highly controversial with policymakers,” said Kenneth Baer, a spokesman for White House Budget Director Peter Orszag…”

Taiwan News
“Speaking to about 400 U.S. Air Force personnel and families at Nellis, near Las Vegas, Obama recited a now-familiar report card: 95 percent of working families have received tax cuts; 44 million Social Security recipients got a $250 bonus; unemployment benefits were extended”
U.S. consumer mood lifts despite home price plunge http://r.reuters.com/dus26c
” The Conference Board, an industry group, said on Tuesday its index of consumer attitudes jumped to 54.9 in May from a revised 40.8 in April, well above forecasts centered around 42.0. That was the biggest one-month jump since April 2003 when many Americans believed the war in Iraq was coming to a rapid conclusion”
Economists on the TV are talking up the economy. Cavuto says that rising interest rates in long-term bonds means the economy is recovering. Not so fast, Mr. C. This is NOT your typical business cycle working itself out. This is a system consuming itself. That interest rate rise in long term bonds is coming from Chines concerns about our debt.

Why is North Korea so emboldened all of the sudden? After their underground nuclear missle test and short-range missile tests, suddenly North Korea has made an incredibly dramatic statement, which is that a state of war now exists between North Korea and South Korea (and all her allies- mainly us).
Why would North Korea feel so emboldened by these tests? Were they remarkably successful? And even if they were successful, would China allow North Korea to make so dramatic a move if it did not see an opportunity to collect both North Korea AND South Korea into her control, believing America’s dependence on Chinese debt holders and continued debt purchasers will prevent us from moving against China. After all, how do go to war with our creditor? That’s got to hurt your credit rating a bit.
The Chinese believe that Obama is either too weak to act against, or outright complicit in, their plans to disassemble American power around the world (with the Russians racing right behind the Chinese to their own Persian ports). They are banking on a sudden onslaught of American casualties, which the leftist press will show for all Americans to see, convincing them to bring their kids home, giving China control of the entire Korean Peninsula (it would only be a matter of time before the Chinese swept into North Korea and seized it outright).
From this point, our position in the region would be untenable. Taiwan would fall. Hong Kong would lose its sovereignty. At this point, now Japan and Hawaii are at risk. Our Mexican border is wide open, so the many other enemies of America can coordinate suicide attacks throughout the nation just as we have faced massive loses in North Korea, to be followed by Iranian missile attacks against our carriers in the Gulf, with Russian and Chinese support.
Europe is too ossified and feckless to come to our aid, save for England, which may yet still see her sovereignty from the continent linked to her American alliance, but would England send men? No.
It is at this time in our history that America must decide if we are to stay together, or if we are to protect our own from the chaos to come. When the Japanese hit Pearl Harbor, we rose, men and women, and even children, to defend that beloved dream, American Freedom.
Perhaps American Freedom will be remembered as the starting point of a worldwide freedom movement that will sweep the centrist people grinders out of power by discontinuing participation in their worlds they’ve constructed so beautifully. More than likely, if they were to act right now we are not prepared to respond. Too many parts of the country are in direct conflict with one another over fundamental principles. No American will send their child to fight for a government they no longer trust.
By this point, the whole ruling American class level of corruption will be obvious to all rainbow shades of the American prism. A military coup will need to take place to prevent the whole American system from disintegrating over night. These will be dangerous times, but times of great opportunity as well.
We will need to clarify our commitments to one another and the terms of those commitments. We will need to control our elected officials more efficiently, prevent them from becoming employees of defense contractors instead of servants of the people.
Will we begin to listen to one another before it’s too late?
