that we can spend our way out of everything

But there’s no future when you mortgage your tomorrows

They’re burning all the flags and laws
and all the politicians have been set to horde
as much as they can

They’re offering Utopian solutions
if we would just but trust in them
and not dare try to muster up a stand

The politicians have become the new plantation master,
we’ve become their human capital

Soon well be assessed by how much we can offer masters, as they direct the life or death lever pull
