At 17:30 local time, clashes were sparked between the people and suppressive forces at Vanak Square, which were still continuing until the time of reporting. The special guard forces have started suppressing protestors. Also at Enghelab Square, Vali Asr Square, Fatemi, Azadi Street, and Yousefabad, suppressive forces have attacked crowds of people seeking to disperse them. Drivers honk their horns to support the protestors.
