Emboldened by Chavez committment to run gas to Iran in wake of west boycott threats, the President of Iran, ahkmadiniejad, declared the debate on Nuclear weapons to be over.  On the same day that Chavez announced his nation’s intentions to send gas to Iran, the regime of Iran issues their defiant proclamation.

Iran secures Gas from Venezuela http://bit.ly/xRGEV  source Zee NewsDefying the West and much of the rest of the world, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuala announced this past Sunday that Venezuela would supply Iran with all the petrol it needs to counter the threat by the West to ban all petrol exports to Iran.  This move by Chavez destablizes the West’s negotiating position before any official ever sits at the table.

Two graphs demonstrate the startling reality for post-bubble-bursting moments in economic history, the first shows Japan’s peak up to the crash of 1990, and the second shows the Nasdaq results after its bubble-bursting crash of 1995.  In both instances, the pre-bubble heights are never equalled, with around 50% of the peak’s value being retained post-bubble-burst.
