Reducing the Part D Premium Subsidy for High-Income Beneficiaries
Instead of setting the Medicare premium subsidy at 74.5 percent of total Part D premiums, the Chairman‘s Mark would decrease the Medicare premium subsidy to reflect the percentages used to decrease the Part B premium subsidy under current law.
