Mike Castle is the ultimate Republican in Name Only. Remove RINOs calls him the Ace of Spades of liberal Republicans.

This establishment Republican has been in elected office for over 40 years. After serving in state government, he was elected to Congress in 1993, and since that time he has managed to compile one of the most liberal voting records in the GOP.

Republican Christine O’Donnell officially launched her campaign for U.S. Senate Wednesday in front of a handful of supporters at the University of Delaware’s Wilmington campus.

O’Donnell, who is described in her campaign website biography as a political commentator and marketing consultant, will face Delaware’s longest-serving U.S. Representative Mike Castle in a September primary.  She wasted no time in going on the offensive against Castle during her campaign announcement.  “Mike Castle is the most liberal Republican in the House.  This is not the year to be a liberal career politician who has consistently voted for the overspending and over-taxation that is bankrupting our country,” said O’Donnell.

I had the distinct honor and privilege of speaking with Christine O’Donnell to discuss her candidacy and her campaign to fill Joe Biden’s old US Senate seat in Delaware. There will be a Special Election primary on September 14 the winners of which will face off in the General in November. Christine O’Donnell would be an outstanding addition in the hallowed halls of the US Senate, and she deserves a closer look; on the issues she means to fight over, and the way in which she means to perform her duties should she prevail this fall. She has to get past the worst Republican in the House first though…Mike Castle…who she “lovingly” refers to as the King of the RINOs and the guy that has gone “Left” 70 % of the time he’s been in that House seat. Delaware Republican Christine O’Donnell is planning to capitalize on the throngs expected at Glenn Beck’s Washington rally Saturday by capturing footage for a television ad she hopes to launch against Rep. Mike Castle in their Senate primary.

O’Donnell, a heavy underdog against the moderate nine-term congressman, told POLITICO Friday that her campaign will shoot footage of her among the estimated 2,000 Delaware residents attending the conservative demonstration.
