Just read this letter written by David Green, and if you have been able to stomach it, I’ll have commentary at the bottom:

The vast majority of 9/11 observances in this country cannot be seen as politically neutral events. Implicit in their nature are the notions that lives lost at the World Trade Center are more valuable than lives lost in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine and elsewhere; that the motives of the 9/11 attackers had nothing to do with genuine grievances in the Islamic world regarding American imperialism; and that the U.S. has been justified in the subsequent killing of hundreds of thousands in so-called retaliation.

The observance at Saturday’s football game was no different. A moment of silence was followed by a military airplane flyover; in between, Block-I students chanted “USA, USA.” This was neither patriotism nor remembrance in any justifiable sense, but politicization, militarism, propaganda and bellicosity. The University is a public institution that encompasses the political views of all, not just the most (falsely) “patriotic.” Athletic planners should cease such exploitation for political purposes. They might at least consider how most Muslim students, American or otherwise, would respond to this nativist display; or better, Muslims and others that live their lives under the threat of our planes, drones and soldiers.

Tom Ross has been lauded by the Delaware Libertarians as being an excellent choice for Delaware GOP back in 2008 for his “libertarian politics” and his “non-ideological” ways (re: He’s not a conservative- He’s a Libertarian masked as a republican- an L-RINO). Tom Ross has been a rabid dog attacking Christine O’Donnell, calling her not to fit to run for dog catcher, questioning her ability to be a Senator because she once, gasp, was on debt (that would eliminate 70+% of the country from public office, Mr. Blueblood Tom), and now, he has decided to file FEC charges against her because the Tea Party movement is throwing its money and ads behind Christine O’Donnell, even as he directs his RINO minions, the Delaware GOP, to conduct robo calls for the suppposedly fiscal conservative Mike Castle (who voted for Cap and Trade, voted for the Stimulus, voted for the recent Jobs Bill).

The Republican Party of Delaware has filed a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission, accusing one of its own Senate candidates of illegally collaborating with the Tea Party Express.
Attorneys for the state party asked the FEC to launch an immediate and thorough investigation into conservative GOP candidate Christine O’Donnell “to remedy the alleged violations and to ensure that these violations immediately cease and do not reoccur,” according to the complaint filed Thursday. . . .
The complaint alleges that the O’Donnell campaign is “knowingly accepting illegal campaign contributions from the Tea Party Express PAC.” . . .
Delaware State GOP Chairman Tom Ross offered this statement:
“Christine O’Donnell needs to immediately call upon her third party supporters to cease and desist this illegal behavior,” he said. “This type of behavior has no place in our political process, and O’Donnell should denounce these illegal ads. Donors deserve to know whether they made an illegal donation so they can demand a refund and get their money back.”
The fantastic part about Tom Ross’s last claim there is that conservative within the Delaware GOP gave money to the party not expecting it to spend THEIR money supporting a progressive candidate who is not only NOT conservative, he is part of the Obama Progressive Agenda.

Mike Castle is the ultimate Republican in Name Only. Remove RINOs calls him the Ace of Spades of liberal Republicans.

This establishment Republican has been in elected office for over 40 years. After serving in state government, he was elected to Congress in 1993, and since that time he has managed to compile one of the most liberal voting records in the GOP.

Republican Christine O’Donnell officially launched her campaign for U.S. Senate Wednesday in front of a handful of supporters at the University of Delaware’s Wilmington campus.

O’Donnell, who is described in her campaign website biography as a political commentator and marketing consultant, will face Delaware’s longest-serving U.S. Representative Mike Castle in a September primary. She wasted no time in going on the offensive against Castle during her campaign announcement. “Mike Castle is the most liberal Republican in the House. This is not the year to be a liberal career politician who has consistently voted for the overspending and over-taxation that is bankrupting our country,” said O’Donnell.

I had the distinct honor and privilege of speaking with Christine O’Donnell to discuss her candidacy and her campaign to fill Joe Biden’s old US Senate seat in Delaware. There will be a Special Election primary on September 14 the winners of which will face off in the General in November. Christine O’Donnell would be an outstanding addition in the hallowed halls of the US Senate, and she deserves a closer look; on the issues she means to fight over, and the way in which she means to perform her duties should she prevail this fall. She has to get past the worst Republican in the House first though…Mike Castle…who she “lovingly” refers to as the King of the RINOs and the guy that has gone “Left” 70 % of the time he’s been in that House seat. Delaware Republican Christine O’Donnell is planning to capitalize on the throngs expected at Glenn Beck’s Washington rally Saturday by capturing footage for a television ad she hopes to launch against Rep. Mike Castle in their Senate primary.

O’Donnell, a heavy underdog against the moderate nine-term congressman, told POLITICO Friday that her campaign will shoot footage of her among the estimated 2,000 Delaware residents attending the conservative demonstration.
